2016年5月12日下午，伟德国际1946官网与伟德国际victor1946德国研究中心共同邀请威斯康辛大学历史系Douglas Howland教授，在伟德国际victor1946综合楼1402室发表主题为“联通欧洲：十九世纪的海底电报线路安全和国际协议的局限性”（“Cabling Europe: Submarine Network Security and the Limits of International Agreement in the 19th Century”）的讲座。讲座由伟德国际victor1946德国研究中心梅飞虎（Maximilian Mayer）教授和伟德国际1946官网王传兴教授共同主持。
